I have been waiting for the perfect dagger brush in travel form to add to my kit. Well this set replaced the travel brush collection I built over 5 years because everything I really need is here! I can accomplish essentially anything at all while painting plain air in either watercolor OR gouache or Ink for that matter. The bristles are soft and absorbent but also rather snappy back to their original shape. Not quite as snappy as the original set of rounds I got from Fuumuui but i genuinly am glad for that because I now have the full range of super soft and moldable, super snappy pointed round AND now soft and snappy in all the best shapes and sizes. Seriously though this dagger brush is AH-mazing! So many companies give you a slanted shader type brush and just call it a dagger brush which is very disappointing but this one is genuinely a fantastic dagger shape and size and again the shape which is most important for a true dagger is PERFECT it makes a fantastic striper as well. Another great feature is length, I have large hands and these are on the longer side which I really enjoy, but best of all they are comfortable to use and hold even if you want to switch back and forth between the brush tips on either end of the same handle. You can remove the caps from both sides and still comfortable use and hold the brush no problem at all and with large hands like mine that’s a huge plus ! I can’t say about about how I like these brushes already.
