Very nice addition to my brushes. Easy texture, fur, grasses. Sweet! Using them in acrylic and watercolor classes.

These are my go to watercolor journals. The paper is very high quality. Texture is good but not too rough as I do realistic watercolor paintings and I still can use this. The paper holds so much moisture in layers that any watercolor artists would love to use them. There is a ribbon to show where you left off. And a detail I didn't know until I received them--the pages can be torn out with the straight perforation. So I have left some pieces without using the backside in case I wish to frame them. I have 2 journals going at all times: lessons and personal other works. Excellent price point for the quality. I doubt I will switch brands.

I accidentally reviewed the watercolor pad as this. This paper is high quality so you can use both as cards (as intended) which are marked for postage/address and messages on back. Or because of the quality you can use them for smaller art works. They have nice rounded corners which creates a lovely finished look.

A really good range of brushes that includes a little bit of everything. The quality of the brushes seems very good. No hairs came loose when I tested them. There are a few options to draw fine grass or fur. The round brushes come down to a really fine tip, so that even the biggest size allows to draw really fine details as well as big washes.
What really surprised me though, was the awesome zipper bag they came in. It is not the canvas roll shown and promoted in the pictures, but a sturdy case that, when opened, can be folded back in half and secured with tiny straps. That way you've got a beautiful display case that makes it easy to grab the right brush. I've never been a big fan of brush rolls, but I really love this case. What a pleasant surprise.
